Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to use STEM Agronomy.

• You are responsible for your account and all activity under it.
• You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
• Notify us promptly at support@stemagronomy.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

STEM Agronomy accepts soil and DRIS report PDFs you upload, processes them to extract per-block measurements and limiting factors, and returns a downloadable PDF report with citations to source pages. Run status, file counts, and download links are surfaced in your dashboard.

You are responsible for the content of files you upload, for ensuring you have the legal right to process them, and for verifying the accuracy of the recommendations generated.

The standard service runs on shared infrastructure. Customers requiring an isolated environment can use the Private Deployment option, in which the STEM Agronomy software runs inside the customer's own cloud environment. Under Private Deployment, the customer is responsible for the agreements with the cloud infrastructure providers and AI model providers they choose to use.

You may not use STEM Agronomy to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Upload files you do not have lawful authority to process.
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, plan restrictions, or access controls.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the STEM Agronomy platform or its underlying systems.
• Transmit malicious code or interfere with the service.
• Impersonate another user or misrepresent your identity.
• Use the service in a way that creates disproportionate load on our infrastructure.

STEM Agronomy is currently in beta and offers two options:

• Beta: your first report is free during beta. Beta pricing is being finalized; contact us at support@stemagronomy.com to discuss ongoing usage.
• Private Deployment: custom pricing for customers who want STEM Agronomy installed in their own environment. Contact support@stemagronomy.com for terms.

Pricing shown in the product controls if it conflicts with any other summary. Payments are non-refundable except as required by law. We may update pricing with advance notice; existing customers will be notified before any price change takes effect for them. Payment processing is handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.

You own the soil and DRIS reports you upload. We process them to provide the service, generate reports, and operate billing. See the Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

We retain account, billing, and run data while your account is active. You can delete projects, runs, and uploaded files from your dashboard at any time. Upon account deletion, your uploaded files, runs, and generated reports are permanently deleted within 30 days unless longer retention is required by law. You may export your reports before deleting your account.

You retain ownership of the soil and DRIS reports you upload and the reports generated for you. STEM Agronomy retains ownership of the platform, dashboard, and underlying technology.

You grant STEM Agronomy a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, store, transmit, display, and use your uploaded files and the reports generated from them as necessary to provide, maintain, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information.

Team accounts allow multiple users to share access to STEM Agronomy projects and runs. The team owner is responsible for managing member access and permissions.

• The team owner is responsible for all activity under the team account.
• STEM Agronomy is not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from the owner's failure to manage team permissions.
• If a team ownership dispute arises, we may freeze the account until it is resolved.

STEM Agronomy is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or uninterrupted availability.

• Generated reports are produced by automated extraction and may contain errors, omissions, or misclassifications. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying the reports before relying on them for any operational, legal, or commercial purpose.
• STEM Agronomy does not provide agronomic, legal, or professional advice.
• We are not liable for third-party service outages, model changes, or disruptions that affect report generation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, STEM Agronomy and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or business interruption.

Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid to STEM Agronomy in the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability, or (b) $100 USD.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless STEM Agronomy from claims, losses, and expenses arising from:

• Your use of the service.
• The records you upload, including your authority to process them.
• Your violation of these terms or applicable law.
• Activity under your account or team account.

Before filing any claim, both parties agree to attempt informal resolution for at least 30 days by contacting support@stemagronomy.com.

If unresolved, disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis. Class and representative actions are not permitted. If arbitration is unenforceable for a specific claim, that claim will be resolved in courts located in Delaware, and Delaware law will govern.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe your use creates legal, security, abuse, or operational risk, or violates these terms.

Upon termination:

• Your account access is disabled.
• Your existing reports remain available for 30 days so you can export them.
• After 30 days, your uploaded files, runs, and generated reports are permanently deleted.

You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings.

We may update these terms periodically. The effective date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the service after an update means the updated terms apply. We will notify users of material changes by email or in-product notice.
